Our regular readers may recall a recent report about the screen design of the SE 4, where we mentioned that it would use the same screen as the iPhone 14 series. While many users hoped for the inclusion of the Dynamic Island feature in this new affordable model, it’s now confirmed that we’ll continue seeing the notched design for a while longer.
Apple seems to be cutting costs significantly. The last time we saw a single-camera iPhone model was with the SE 3, which was unveiled on March 8, 2022. The SE 3 faced heavy criticism for its outdated design and single camera, leading to expectations that the SE 4 would feature a dual-camera setup. However, based on the leaked case design, it seems Apple is sticking to a single camera, implying that they believe “one camera is enough.”
Looking at the case design, it’s safe to say that the SE 4 will feature a single camera. The back of the device is expected to closely resemble the iPhone 8 models. There was also speculation about the addition of an action button, but as we previously noted, the design doesn’t seem compatible with this feature. Based on the leaked case, we can confirm that this button will not be present on the SE 4.
